Synopsis

In a modern metropolis, demons and deities walk among men, locked in a struggle over the nature of Man and the balance of Yin and Yang that is vital to the existence of our world. The immortal demon vanquisher Zhong Kui is now a jaded, world-weary cynic, an alcoholic recluse riddled with guilt and burdened by the past. A chance encounter with a mortal demon slayer and the return of his greatest adversary sets in motion a chain of events that will bring our world to the brink of cataclysmic destruction.
